No updates today

Today is the second anniversary of my dad's death from kidney disease. My dad and I were really close, so I've spent most of the day remembering the good times with family and friends. While also remembering fondly those who helped me through that troubled time just 2 short years ago. (you know who you are)

It sounds corny I know, but if there is someone you love make sure you show them. Life is short and you won't get the chance again when its over.

I'll try to be back with more updates tomorrow, work willing, or Wed. (a day off) at the latest.

Hey, James!

I know it's not much and certainly won't bring your dad back, but you have both mine and Heidi's sympathies. Having just spent time with her parents, who celebrated their 40th wedding anniversay on Sunday, seeing your thought here really helped drive home how important family and friends truly are.

Hopefully, your day of rememberence was full of fond memories and joyous images of the great times you shared with him. While I don't know your dad personally, any father who is close to his son, as you said you two were, would surely wish for that for their child on such a day as that.

Best wishes, my friend. :)
